Here is a quick list of important items to stash in your bag, based on some of the top items my nearlyweds are searching for on the wedding day. š
1ļøā£ Water bottles. As a planner and event manager, I arrive to the wedding suite with a cooler of 8 oz. water bottles to greet the wedding party and nearlyweds. Itās important to stay hydrated! It can be hotter than you might expect in the getting ready rooms.
2ļøā£ Touch-up makeup is important for anyone having makeup done on the day. Bring any essentials that you might need, such as concealer, lipstick, or mascara should be packed in a cosmetic bag that is easily accessible.
3ļøā£ A full invitation suite. Having your wedding stationery is a great flat lay opportunity for your photographer ā they can lay out the invitations on a table or another beautiful surface and photograph them.
4ļøā£ Granola bars or protein bars. I canāt tell you the number of times someone in the wedding party is feeling lightheaded or needs to stabilize their blood sugar level. Having little snacks around is super important because there may be a span of many hours where no one is eating!
5ļøā£ Gum or flossers. Straightforward ā You want good breath, and you donāt want anything in your teeth!
This is just the beginning and there are more items I suggest to have available on your wedding day. I bring a wedding emergency kit that includes these and much more.
If youāre planning to DIY, make sure you spend some time brainstorming what you want to bring.
