Finished up a great day at Babylon Village Spring Fling with these awesome folks! Dad saw me painting tiger hands on a child while they were waiting and he was so delighted with that that Joanie Baloney just HAD to paint his hands too! Their daughter got a couple of tattoos that she picked great colors for, and then I just had to put a glitter heart on mom to complete the party! Just a super sparkly fun family!

On March 25, Detective Jonathan Diller tragically lost his life in the line of duty, leaving behind his wife and 1 year old son, Ryan. Please join us on June 1, as we raise money to benefit the future of Ryan Diller. A portion of the proceeds from each play session registration will be donated to The Jonathan Diller Trust.

The honor of this happy exchange of smiles is one I am grateful for again and again and again. I LOVE painting faces ... because THEY love having it done for them. Every now and then a little kid says to me, "You have the best job in the world," and I nod with a warm grin of thanks. It IS. And I am deeply profoundly aware of the grace and joy I get to participate in, and all the wonderful families who stop by to say hello. Tonight in Babylon Village was pure wonderment! Thanks to this little guy's mama for taking a photo of what it all means.
