Willow Draw entries have been opened as you all know. Just a note for those of you sending in entries though...
We must receive you hard copy signature page and entry form in the mail! Faxed and email entires not excepted even when utilizing the Xentry system. Your entry will not be considered complete until that point and you will be added to the wait list until it is.
This is our way of keeping the process as fair as possible to all of the riders.

So.. With a fun thought from the 6 six year old boss, I have decided to start a post that shall be dubbed the the Jump of the moment.. Not really aimed for any competition but more fun just a hobby in our house, We will add new sketches when time allows.

Packing to head up to Stanton Farm Horse Trials. If you haven't heard of it you will. The place is amazing with a fabulous cross country tucked into the beautiful hills of Idaho. It's well worth the trip for a one of a kind show experience.

Small detour from the usual eventing fun.... Trail challenge obstacle building day! Shredded shower curtains, pool noodles and blue tarps have never been tortured so...
But to decide if we take this all down before the Aug event, one wonders ?? Haha.

Sol Events

We will have an open gate all weekend. Xc is set to go school so come on out if you can't get any jumping in at home.

Anyone interested in a open schooling at corona this weekend? I know with the weather some are having trouble getting some jumping in and we are rocking some amazing footing right now. Even if it rains you are guaranteed within the day. Benefits of living on the hilltop and our fabulous west Texas sand.

Xc jumps are already moving around. Courses will be softened a little bit for lower levels and our June PT riders will be getting to preview some of the Prelim tracks. We are now going to be offering Intro Test at 1' max with full XC of 8 jumps in the first field!!! Will have course pics up by end of the week for ya!

It could be a trick of the eyes but it's is actually green out at Corona and for one of the few times mowing is making it's way higher up the list of priorities for the May 16-17 event! The start box has officially moved and Larry the Wonderful is scheduled to do the last touches on dressage footing in that arena.

Super excited with my course designs for Fox River Valley this upcoming June. Some awesome changes and a handful of new things to look at. I feel very lucky, This really is such an amazing group to work with!
- meanwhile back in Texas, poor Isaac (the newest recruit on to the Sol team) is getting a fabulous start to horse show work. Stripping stalls, washing barns, and spreading manure.... Every high school kid's dream job. Also we are getting everything laid out because the wonder man, Dan will be joining us for xc jump delivery and even more building before the event!
Getting pretty for May, so get your entries in.

As a special present to Texas Rose Horse Park, we at Sol Events put together a little Thank You gift and brought a few of our sets to snaz up Show Jumping and a extra special one for them to keep. I don't think it turned out too bad.

NEWS UPDATE:
Due to unforeseen circumstances the cross country development at Circle T has been delayed. With our ultimate goals towards the highest quality of footing and building a long term relationship for the eventers there, we have decided to expand our timeline.
At the advice and request of many concerned with Qualifiers we have also decided that we will run a horse trials at Corona Del Sol, May 16-17 instead of a CT and Derby at Circle T.
Work on the courses and jumps at Hamilton will continue and the first deliveries will in fact be used at Corona to been seen along with the huge amount of work underway towards that facility. Stabling improvements are underway. A totally new layout of cross country courses can already be seen and with the shift in priorities we are now Officially announcing the expansion of cross country to include Preliminary for the Aug. event at Corona. The dressage arena has new footing and ring, and our snazzy new show jumps will be used on new footing in a different repurposed arena.
We are still carrying on with the support of the Wounded Warrior Project and are working with several Local
groups to finish the details on a 3km fun run through Cross Country as benefit.
We understand that this has created a glitch in the planning of some of our riders and hope that you all will support us with the long term goals in mind despite the change of location.

Times are posted for Circle T. Please keep in mind all is subject to change and we will be running with a loose gate at dressage and SJ. This is just to give you a general idea of how levels will be set. The times for jumper classes will be posted later on but expect a start time of 9am with 18" and building up throughout morning. Schooling dressage is available anytime after the completion of the CT rides except for Mr. Warrington who will be getting up early. 😉

So lots of fun things coming together for the Feb. Event, all the new show jump materials are getting pretty, pretty paint jobs. A big Thanks to Julie and the rest of the Lawther Gang as they step up to make some amazing pieces. 2 new sponsors including Deer Creek Stables coming in with a show jump sponsorship, which might end being one of the coolest Liverpool jumps ever..
