Olympic Odyssey Gold!🥇 Our campers from Community Recreation Camps channeled their inner Olympians last week! Several of our camps joined together for a Challenge Field Day, from intense tug-of-war battles to showing off their dance moves with refreshing snowballs, these future athletes had a blast!🏅 We're so proud of all the teamwork & sportsmanship shown by all and to the green 💚 team for winning Camp Gold!

Our campers had a blast at Community Rec Camp! ☀️ Last week's Olympic theme has been a hit! 🏅 They unleashed their creativity by crafting colorful team flags they waved proudly throughout the week and spent craft time transforming ordinary rocks into stunning BREC Rocks masterpieces! 🎨 We love seeing their imaginations soar and their smiles grow!

We're still buzzing from last week's grand opening of the NEW Mills Ave Park Basketball Court! 🏀✂️ Huge thanks to Langston Galloway & Sabrina Galloway and the Galloway Foundation for partnering with us to create this amazing space for our community. ✨
This court is built with top-notch materials to keep our players safe and comfortable while they develop their skills. And the best part? Seeing young athletes from BREC’s Sports Academy hit the court for the first time! We can't wait to watch future stars shine here. 💚

🧪🔍 Discovering the wonders of STEAM! Our Discovery Week campers had a blast all week long and included a field trip to Knock Knock Children's Museum. This BREC STEAM camp gave our young learners the chance to dive into Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through hands-on activities and fun-filled play.🚀🔬🎨📚

At Knock Knock, every inch of the museum is designed to facilitate learning and curiosity. Our campers built early literacy skills, explored STEAM subjects, and enjoyed interactive exhibits that sparked their imaginations. The day was filled with positive social interactions and endless opportunities for creativity and collaboration. 🧩🔍🌟🧠
