Today, we celebrated Mojave Gold Rush! We enjoyed taking the Rosamond Community Queens down the parade route. The judges loved it too because the queens were awarded "Judges Choice" for their parade entry.

When 10-year-old Mia Rizk was crowned princess for a day, she wasn’t the only one who was filled with gladness and delight. The wish granters were too.

Being part of Mia's Princess Ball was an absolute joy and honor. She is the sweetest, happiest and kindest young lady and her family radiates hope, happiness, strength and love. We hope Mia had an amazing time and we hope to bring joy to more young people through Make A Wish.

It was an absolute honor to provide our princess carriage for Princess Mia and her beautiful Princess Ball. Thank you to Make-A-Wish for creating such a beautiful day for Mia and her family.

Every 20 minutes, a child is diagnosed with a critical illness. But it’s not every 20 minutes, or even every day, that a child becomes a princess.

Carried Away Carriage Company wants to wish Addison the best of luck in 2024.

Addison served as the 2023 Junior Miss Antelope Valley and has worked closely with the special needs community. She started the Sistering Special Needs Pageant, volunteered with both Saddle Up Therapeutic Riding Stables and Antelope Valley Special Olympics during her reign. Yesterday, as she passed on the Junior Miss Antelope Valley title, she presented AV Special Olympics a check for $2,265!

We were proud and honored to partner with Addison at Halloween when she participated at the AV Seed and Grow sensory friendly trunk or treat.

Addison is an AV double crown winner, having captured the long running traditional AV titles of Little Miss Antelope Valley and Junior Miss Antelope Valley. Only three community queens have ever double crowned with the traditional AV titles. She is the first Little Miss AV to go on to later capture the Junior Miss AV title.

In addition to all this, Addison has served as a Greenhand Officer with her school's FFA Chapter and shows lambs annually at the Kern County Fair. She enjoys singing, playing guitar and has been chosen as a performer at her school's "Coffee House" last spring.

She is doing BIG things and she has no desire to slow down. Addison has is going to continue with her community service and wishes to continue as a community queen. Carried Away Carriage has been asked if we would be willing to sponsor her in the start of her next chapter. How could we NOT?!

As a family with two special needs children, it was our absolute honor to bring Santa in for his grand entrance at the Saddle Up Therapeutic Riding Stables Christmas event.

Thank you to the District 9 High School Rodeo Queen, Junior Miss Antelope Valley and Junior Misses from Rosamond, Mojave, Lancaster, Rancho Vista and Quartz Hill for helping es**rt the big buy in.

Lisa, thank you for the invite! You have been such a blessing to the special needs community and while we will all miss you, we wish you all the best as you ride off into the sunset of retirement.

Keep an eye out for updates in 2024 as it was just announced today that someone in the process of taking over Saddle Up (at a new location) so that this service remains available to the Antelope Valley! 💙

Last night was quite a night. We got a lot of mixed reports but the parade officials made the decision to continue on with the parade. We want to thank the queens from Central Kern County and Cities of America for letting us get you down the parade route of the Bakersfield Christmas Parade.

We received word that the victims of the incident before the parade are in stable condition. Please join us in continuing to pray for their swift and full recovery.

Carried Away Carriage Company sends our heartfelt sympathy to Saddle Up Therapeutic Riding Stables. They recently lost their big, beautiful, gentle giant to colic. Tenor was so loved and took such care of all his special riders. Rest easy, Tenor. We will miss you! 💙
