❷ The Library will purchase the requested book from Amazon for you.
❸ The book will be shipped directly to your home at no cost.
❹ When you are finished reading, return the book to any Kern County Library branch to potentially add it to the library's collection.

The home-delivery book service provides residents a quick process to order books online through Amazon that are unavailable in the library's collection. The service is available for residents with a library card in good standing through June 2025.

Instead of shuffling across the ice, many penguins like to lay on their stomachs and propel themselves with their feet. It's often a faster way to get around and it's just plain fun, okay? The only thing more fun than that is Storytime at the library!

This popular series, by Rebecca Yarros, is taking the fantasy book reading community on a wild adventure full of dragons, magic, and romance. While reading, we learn that a "signet" is a unique power that a character gains after bonding with a dragon such as, the ability to wield elements or see long distances with perfect clarity.
