We provide communal workspace, dedicated desks, private offices, and conference rooms. MESH Cowork sits above a local coffee shop in the heart of downtown Bakersfield. Walking up the stairs you’ll find an open room with lots of windows, offering natural light, and a view of downtown. With plenty of desks and space to work, there’s always room for one more at our table. What separates MESH Cowork f

rom other locations is that we cater to remote workers, freelancers, parents, and self-employed professionals while focusing on creating a community. Virtual offices, executive suites, and home offices are useful, but at Mesh, we’ve created a space for independent thinkers to come together and escape the solitude of the home office, or the sounds of a busy coffee shop. You only pay for the time and space that you use. No need for a lengthy commitment when you might only need a place to work for a few days, or even a couple of hours. The members of MESH are like an informal team of technology partners that, while independent, share information and encouragement with others in our community setting. M: How has photography changed you?
S: Photography has opened up so many doors for me personally but also so many amazing friendships, connections and partnerships along the way.

M: What is your favorite thing to shoot?
S: My favorite thing to shoot is weddings, I’m a biggggg cheesy romance girl so it puts me in my feels every time.

M: When did you decide to make this a business?
S: In November of 2019 i was laid off from my job and decided to go full force into a hobby i had loved for forever.

M: What is the biggest gap you see in Bakersfield photographers?
S: Community connection, it’s definitely getting better but we need a lot more team work & connection with each other!

M: What would you list as your official job title?
J: “Creator, Clarity Accelerator, INSIGHT Incubator”

M: How do you generate ideas for your clients and bring them to life?
J: “My approach uses Intuitive Strategy, so we do things like, guided visualization….SMART goals and the clarity process I developed called INSIGHT that brings the concept of intuitive strategy to life.”

M: In your opinion, what makes a successful project?
J: “When I hear a client talk about a logo ‘they’ created or they say ‘I’ve had this idea in my head for so long and this is exactly how I imagined it but couldn’t quite articulate it.’”

M: Would you refer others to Mesh?
J: “Absolutely. It has been a great place to come to after working for over a decade from a home office.”

National Sewing Machine Day!🧵 Who better to post than the best instructor from , Amanda!! She is SEW good at what she does🪡

Read a little bit about her:
[M]: What got you into sewing and how long have you been doing it?
[A]: I started sewing when I was 16. Christmas time was coming around and I wanted to make my friends handmade gifts, my Grandma is an avid quilter, had her own dedicated room for it and all so I decided to ask her to teach me to sew. We decided on making tie dye tote bags. I absolutely loved them. Following, I was hooked!

[M]: What does being a sewing instructor mean to you?
[A]: Being a sewing instructor to me means that I can help others bring their ideas to life. I love being able to give the power to someone that has a vision, whether that be creating a garment from scratch, learning to put in a zipper for the first time, or mending clothing so they can live a longer life. It all brings me so much joy.

[M]: Your favorite part about sewing!
[A]: My favorite part about sewing is definitely seeing the project come together. Not the beginning where things are getting cut out and pieced together, but the steps just before it's all done, when you really see it taking shape and are so excited for what YOU created. It’s such a satisfying feeling and I love seeing that feeling in my students as well.
