It's the most wonderful time of the year! Our Christmas Truck is now open! This is a free community photo opportunity available to anyone. Bring a photographer or your iPhone. This is accessible to anyone in the community who would like to reserve a time to come and take photos.

This years truck has been styled by Fisher Photography. They do amazing mini sessions and have worked hard to bring this gorgeous decor to life. We have partnered with Fisher Photography to offer a professional option this year. If you are looking for a photographer to capture your session, you can visit their page to book one of their available sessions. In addition to the truck, they have an adorable Christmas Tree Farm set only available to their clients. We highly recommend their amazing services.

The love between Nick and Nicole is unmistakable. From the small moments, to the looks shared across the room - we could not be more proud to be a part of their story. We are having a major issue with people taking our personal property from the barn and using it for photo sessions. A $300 bench was taken out and broken. Multiple other items have been removed, used, and then just left out in the grass. This is a huge violation of our trust.

The ONLY items available for the public to use are in the small wooden shed that is directly next to the truck. If you would like other items in your photos, you are welcome to bring your items with you.

This is our personal property. We open this event as a goodwill gesture to the community. We spend our own money and time creating decor and putting on this event. We do not receive any profit from this event. The very small amount of donations we receive go directly back to help repair and buy new decor. It is incredibly disheartening that people can be this disrespectful. Please treat the property as you would expect your own to be treated.

We are already getting tons of inquiries about Christmas truck sessions! For photographers who are making money off of their sessions, We are changing things up a little bit this year.

We started this project as a way to give back to the community. To give everyone a wonderful photo opportunity to share with their families. We do not charge or personally make money off of this, and spend our own money and time buying and making decor. Any donations go directly back into replacing decor and hopefully adding new ones.

Last year, the majority of our prime weekend dates and times were scheduled by paid photographers. They then went on their individual sites and charged for mini sessions to their clients. We absolutely want to work with community photographers, but we want to keep the original spirit of this opportunity in tact.

We are opening the first 2 weeks of our calendar to paid photographers who are making money off of their photo shoots. This gives the professionals a window to use the photo opportunity, but also gives the public the chance to have access as well.

For photographers who are being paid for their session, we are opening Nov. 1st-14th for only you. Any area photographers who would like to offer sessions, and are charging, this is your time to get those in. After November 14th, we are asking that any person making money off of a photo session, only schedule one 15 minutes session per weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday). We feel like this keeps our original intent alive, while still giving some opportunities to community photographers.

We will publish the photographer Christmas calendar on our page on Sunday Oct. 10th, at 6pm. The dates will be from Nov.1st - Nov 14th. Please use the calendar link we will publish on Sunday to reserve your session times, it will be first come first serve.

For the community, Christmas sessions will be available starting on Nov.15th. We will publish that calendar at a later date.

One more of Josh + Bethany just because we have to give major props to Stony Point Hall for having the coolest stuff of any wedding venue. A phone booth, a gypsy wagon, an old truck and a beautiful barn are all on this amazing property! If you're planning a wedding you must check this place out because the owner is the bee's knees and the photo opportunities are endless.

The Douglas County Health Order has expired! There are currently no restrictions to your event at Stony Point Hall. They do highly recommend you limit your total guest count, social distance, and wear masks - but these are no longer mandates. You can read all about it on our blog post:
