Halloween came early to OM! Last Friday, we held our 6th Annual Boo-Bee Halloween Party and Fundraiser (with spelling bee, trivia, costume parade and karaoke!) to raise proceeds for patients at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center 🎀 The Boo-Bee is one of the most special events we hold here at OM, and we appreciate everyone who attended! 🐝 🙏

We send the hugest thanks to our friend (Oli Turner) for serving as our stupendous host for the Boo-Bee festivities! Oli knows a thing or two about horror as one of the co-founders of the .careyfilms filmmaking collective—be sure to check out their many cool events, involving screenings, art and director’s talks they have planned in partnership with us! All night, they were the three-eyed that will haunt us forever—but in the best possible way 😅 Thank you so much, Oli!👏💚👁️

Two of three possible winners were named! Our Boo-Bee trivia winner was of Harwood, and the spelling bee winner was Steve of Pigtown—congratulations to both of them 🥇🏆👏 As for our intended costume contest, there was a lot of multi-event activity in the building, and this year’s winner will forever be undetermined—but there were some impressive looks! 🤭🙃

October 31 is the final day for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There’s a sad likelihood that we all know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer 👉 If you would like to learn more about the UMD Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center and to perhaps make a donation of your own, visit https://tinyurl.com/4akj2427 👈
