Hope everyone is doing well right while we collectively navigate this pandemic. Last year, Party Girl Entertainment launched in 2019 taking a leap of faith. PGE provides 5 star DJ services for the DMV area and has competitive inclusive pricing. Our mission is to bridge the gap for women and LGBTQ identifying DJs, promoting equitable representation in professional and corporate settings in a male dominated industry. Right now, a challenge that we face is being less visible than established companies with more financial capital and larger operations.

Nav is an amazing resource for businesses and we highly recommend checking them out and signing up for a free account. They have helped me with financial literacy and potentially building my business credit! They are currently giving out grants ranging from $1,000-$10,000.

If Party Girl Entertainment was selected for a $10,000 grant, we would use the money towards advertising, expanding employment opportunities and purchasing lighting. In a competitive field, Party Girl Entertainment remains a hidden gem in a field of established companies with more capital. As a one-woman show, I would like to use a portion of this money to hire other DJs, returning back to the core mission of PGE; equal representation. Lastly, including lighting options in our packages would open up a whole other realm of potential clientele and special events. Having the grant to support that cost would allow for us to maintain affordable pricing options. We hope Nav sees the potential in our business and we can't wait to get behind the decks again!
