October’s Baltimore Kibbitz—20’s-40’s Jewish happy hour was a blast at Union Craft Brewing . Aurora borealis showed out during it. The beer was plentiful and cold, the conversation was lively and the hummus was on point. We can’t wait to see and you all again on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 5:30 to 7:30ish. Oh, and we are officially part of ’s offerings to help connect Baltimore-area Jews.

RSVP on Meetup for the address—Vegan gigantes plaka, roasted beets are on the menu for a quick supper before kol nidrei. Kol Nidrei means “all vows,” and is the opening lines of prayer the chazzan starts the Shabbat Shabbaton with at sundown, first quietly, then louder, and louder still so that even late-comers hear the pleas for forgiveness.
