Bring a project or PWYC for craft kits and supplies

*For beginner crochet lesson plz bring one crochet hook (try to stay between 4-6.5mm for size) and yarn- an entire skein is not needed- piecing together scrap yarn will work, but make sure you have a decent amount to keep a project going!

Thank you to all who came out yesterday!

We wrote over 60 letters to representatives, created dozens of posters to be used at future protests, and cultivated community amongst those who are committed to fighting for a better and more inclusive nation.

On a personal note, this was the first time I, , have organized something like this. While the high achiever part of me wanted the space to be filled wall to wall with countless people, I realized more and more throughout the event that this is how a movement starts—how momentum grows.  I was humbled by the energy that inhabited the space yesterday. I was in awe of the community being built before my eyes. I was inspired by the work ethic being put towards the collective belief that it is our human right to exist as our authentic selves in the place we call home. Let’s keep the momentum building. Until next time ✨
