We are thrilled to feature the Krazney family as our December Family of the Month!

Originally from Reisterstown and Madison, WI, Philip and Jessica now call White Marsh home with their two daughters, Tali (8) and Kaya (6). Together, they’ve made reading a meaningful part of their Jewish life, with PJ Library’s "Sammy Spiderl books being a family favorite.

Their favorite local spot is Angel Park, and they cherish celebrating Rosh Hashanah Under The Stars as a special family tradition. When they're not enjoying the outdoors, you’ll find them playing Mexican Train or watching "Mrs. Doubtfire" together.

Happy Thanksgiving! Wishing you a day filled with joy, connection, and maybe even a slice of pie! 🥧

Did you know there's a Jewish tradition of acknowledging at least 100 blessings each day? This practice, known as "hakarat hatov"—or "recognizing the good"—helps us appreciate life’s wonders.

Kids are naturally great at this, often finding joy in the simplest things. As they grow, it can be harder to maintain that sense of wonder.

Explore PJ Library's storybooks to inspire hakarat hatov:

Are you raising kids with an “attitude of gratitude?” These books can help!

Amplify your impact this December with MITZVAH MONTH!

All month long, we're bringing Mitzvah Month Packing Parties to a neighborhood near you. Enjoy the chance to connect with fellow volunteers, engage with local organizations and make a meaningful impact by assembling Winter Care Packages for our community.

Also, join our community connectors at their smaller gatherings throughout December. Volunteers will have a chance to make new friendships and strengthen old ones while doing meaningful service projects.

PLUS, we'll help connect you to volunteer opportunities with our nonprofit partners on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
