I've been really lax about keeping up with this page since we had to move, but I'm going to try to do better. Cowboy Camp is still the Third Thursday of every month at the pavilion behind the Bandera Beverage Barn in Bandera. We start at 7 pm. It's a free pickers circle. We encourage western music but welcome any kind of acoustic music. Anyone is welcome to sit in or just sit and listen. It's BYOB if you want to bring adult beverages. The show is Free.

Unless someone wants to play guest host for Cowboy Camp Sep 16, I'm going to have to cancel again. I still don't have much voice with this post covid pneumonia cough. It is getting better but sure can't talk much let alone sing. Usually worn out by 8 PM, too. Sorry.

It's the Third Thursday again so time for Cowboy Camp at the pavilion behind the Bandera Beverage Barn from 7 to 10. It's free to the public. Cowboy Camp is an open pickers circle. We used to try to keep it all Cowboy music, but have opened it up to all kinds of acoustic music. I would love to have some bluegrass and blues players. Come on out and enjoy some free entertainment. It's a beautiful spot on the river.BYOB. You can buy beer right there at the Bandera Beverage Barn.

Cowboy Camp tonight at the pavilion behind the Bandera Beverage Barn. 7 PM. We have a new heater, wood for the fireplace, Christmas lights, free chili and cornbread, live music, and it's free.

After a 3 month hiatus, Cowboy Camp is happening again. Thursday. June 18. We are having our long postponed fan appreciation dinner, free for all of our fans and pickers. Serving starts at 6, music starts at 7. I hope all of our faithful followers can join us .

We had such a great turn out last month. The musicians were really on. A lot of excitement both from players and listeners. The new venue at the Flying Let is great. Lots of food and drink available at reasonable prices. This month Cowboy Camp is on Thursday, March 21 at 7 pm. Come on out.

For the rest of the cold months at least, we will be doing our third Thursday Cowboy Camp at the Flying L Ranch Resort in Bandera. Great place, great food across the hall, actually they serve in the Legends Room where we play, and the drinks are really reasonable, Plus, playing there is the only way we get to hear Buck Shannon sing! Next Cowboy Camp is Feb. 21st. at 7pm.

Well, life gets in the way of having a life, but tomorrow night, April 19, is the Third Thursday Cowboy Camp at the pavilion behind the Bandera Beverage Barn. I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to post, but the weather is nicer and it's time for a good time. We will start at 7 and play until 10, so come out and listen to some good, or maybe some mediorcre cowboy music, and we will entertain you to the best of our ability.

December Cowboy Camp is Thursday night, the 21st at 7 pm at the pavilion behind the Beverage Barn. I plan on making gumbo and I'm sure there will be other goodies. I know it's close to Christmas and there is a lot going on, but hope you will come out for the last Cowboy Camp pickers circle of the year. Will I have my new guitar? Probably not yet.

This month's Cowboy Camp will be Thursday, the 16th. 7 to 10 pm at the Bandera Beverage Barn pavilion. I will be making another pot of wild game chili, and I will bring coffee in case Reuben Darnell shows up.

October's Cowboy Camp will be Oct. 19, starting at 7 PM at the pavilion at the Bandera Beverage Barn and RV Park. I have a batch of wild game being ground up for chili meat at the Bandera Meat Market, so planning on a big pot of wild game chili to share.

These things don't always work out, but we will be doing a special Cowboy Camp Saturday night the 16th. A Swiss film crew is supposed to be filming "real Cowboys" doing real cowboy music. Well, we fit part of that. More details to come.
