Two weeks from today - Hospitality House Northwest NC will be hosting our annual Thanksgiving Community Meal at our Boone Brook Hollow Complex Community Kitchen. Drop in 12:30 - 2:30 pm on Thanksgiving Day!

Thanks to a generous donor, the meal is being catered by Gadabouts Catering with yeast rolls from Stick Boy Bread Company

Menu includes: roast turkey, country sausage and vegetarian stuffing, sweet potato casserole w/ pecan streusel, mashed red skin potatoes, baked macaroni & cheese, turkey gravy, brown sugar & sage acorn squash, orange & thyme rainbow carrots, and a variety of homemade pies.

P.S. our Food Pantry will also be open Thanksgiving Day from 12pm - 4pm and will have traditional Thanksgiving food items to be handed out.

Looking for your Thanksgiving turkey and all the fixings? Feeding Avery Families has got you covered this week.

We are providing boxes with turkey breasts, boxed macaroni & cheese, cream soup cans, canned cranberry sauce, canned corn & green beans, boxed stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, and fresh apple or pumpkin pies.

Boxes available for pick-up on Wednesday, November 13, 9:30am-2:30pm, and Friday, November 15, 12:30pm-5:30pm. Drive-thru only.

Thank you to Ram's Rack for sharing supplies to make these boxes available.

So many of our vendors have suffered terrible losses through the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene. One way you can help is by supporting their efforts to rebuild! is hosting a 5 course Chef’s Table Dinner with Wine Paring at the November 13, 14 and 21. You can reserve your ticket at www.azafranchef.com! Let’s help them sell out!!
They also have a Go Fund Me page to help replace all their essential kitchen items destroyed in the flood, if you can’t make the dinner and would like to donate! (Also linked on their website)

Hey y'all,

We're having an Orin Swift Wine Dinner in benefit for F.A.R.M. cafe on October 3rd. The dinner starts at 6:30 but we ask that you arrive at 6:15. The event won't begin until 6:30 p.m. once everyone has arrived. We have 4 courses with 4 wines. The dinner is $100 per guest.
