Winter in Maine for an events business means a bit more time to explore and Kristen (our exec. chef) and I went to visit @PenobscotBayWeddings recently. It's a new waterfront venue in Winterport with views looking back at the Penobscot Narrows Bridge. The waterfront honeymoon suite is actually a cottage that's included with every rental - so cute and look at those views and that bathtub! Emerald (the owner) was super awesome and welcoming. After, we took a quick detour to try out @heysailorhey in Searsport with happy hour snacks, 90's tunes, and a mocktail. There's always more to explore in Maine and we try to keep up with the newest and best options for all our event clients.

On our to-do list this weekend: soak up some vitamin D, grill out, and hit the Bar Harbor’s Eden Farmer’s Market on Sunday to grab some of these General Tso’s chicken sausages courtesy of Executive Chef Matt Leddy. Our Online Market is currently closed and will re-open Tuesday morning at 9 am - thanks, again, to everyone who shopped and will be picking up items today and tomorrow! We're making some minor tweaks to streamline the Market and we're also adding some new items that will hopefully be as exciting as our fried chicken.
