January- the longest month ever! Does anyone else feel like January has been 413 days?

-Planning, re-planning, and buying seeds + new dahlia varieties for this year’s growing season! 📝
-Enjoyed some beautiful snow ❄️
-Started separating + getting seeds ready for the seed sale! 🌱
-Checked in on the dahlia tubers 🥔
-Started some seeds + pre-sprouted ranunculus and anemones 🌸
-Turned over the ranunculus + anemone bed for planting💪🏻

Even though we’re in the “off season” of growing things are still very busy around here!

Learning LOTS over here + found this cool way to winnow and separate chaff (flower debris) from seed! Only thing is I didn’t realize one of our cats, Bonnie (aka Bon Bon) was laying on one of our chairs and got some on her! She seems delighted…🙈 Watch to the end to see how well this process works to separate the seeds after winnowing a couple of times!
