Kindred Photography We are a husband and wife professional photography team. Benjamin & Kimberly Cegelka are a Professional Photography team.

They both have had a passion for the art of photography since their early teens. This passion brought them to study at the University of Hartford Art School where they met and fell in love. Today they use this passion of photography to capture other's memories as well as pursue their own artistic endeavors.

Over the last almost 13 years we have worked at over 145 different venues! From farms to ballrooms, castles and ocean front resorts with churches and dozens of private residences in between. If you ask if we have worked at your venue there is a good chance we have but if we haven't then that is amazing too. We love seeing new places and having adventures with you! Our tip...take your time figuring out what you like the best and be clear but also open to the professional, they know what is in season and actually possible. We LOVE when people highlight what makes them...them. Is music important to you? A guacamole unity ceremony...awesome! Hike up a mountain to take pictures and show off your hiking boots with your wedding dress. Decide to jump in the lake and waterski during your reception! Take that photo you have been dreaming of your whole life on your childhood staircase. Wear a black gown. Rock your Nike sneakers. Find a vintage pink dress and match it to your vintage colored flowers. Wear jeans and your cowboy boots. Leave your ceremony on your fire truck. Break dance! Show how much you love your fur baby. Whatever it is that makes you happy... do it! and make sure you tell your photographer about it so they can capture it 😉
