Just a quick test run with the @leicacamerausa SL2s that just arrived. I wanted to give the C4k a Quick Look and convert the L-Log footage. No audio here other than what’s recorded through the camera itself. I am beyond impressed how organic the footage is. In terms of photography the high ISO capabilities are simply astonishing. Like really…..astonishing. More to come.

The process of photography using a Leica is different than any other camera I have ever used. Some may dismiss this statement but once the experience is had it’s hard for one to deny. Some random images using my Leica system. . Experimenting with my Color Profiles that I am developing for still photography and edit in Lr I was able to use them as color Luts which I used in this opening sequence. Affording me a cohesive look between my files. So much fun when experimention pays off. Quick tips to level up your photography. Yes you can go out and spend big money on custom lay flats and back drops but here’s a quick and cheap solution. Head over to your local hardware store and find stone tiles. They’d come in a multitude of variations and work perfectly. They have texture and depth and in most cases a perfect matte finish which helps diffuse highlights and light spill. You can use them alone or price them together to add abstract designs. I would add felt pads on the underside which protects the surface you choose to place them on add to the ease of mobility.
