This years apple festival race looked a little different. We utilized a new route allowing participates to complete up to 3 laps on the 1.08 mile course. We hope this continues to encourage families to start the Saturday off with a little fitness. We brought back participant shirts thanks to our friends at BaintCreate.

We are proud to announce we had 58 participate in the run on Saturday Morning. Pictures will be shared soon.

We recognized the first three to cross the finish line upon the completion of 3 laps.
1st with a time of 20:23 Collyn Forbis
2nd with a time of 23:23 Brody Bainter
3rd with a time of 24:20 Dr. Motely

Special thanks to Betty Syrcle, Diane Lynch and Rick Shover for helping at the event. Will Patterson for taking pictures. Allison Woods and Paxton Patterson for helping present awards. Barry Fire Department for monitoring the race route. Western High School Basketball coaches for encouraging your players to participate. The Apple Festival committee for all the hard work you do to make this massive event possible. I am proud to be a small part of that. Without everyone's contributions this race would not have been possible.
