What a weekend! Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who sponsored money, gifts and the most valuable thing, their time! This festival cannot happen without you!
To my committee! You are all rock stars! Thank you for all that you do!
To all of the vendors, thank you for coming out every year! It's always great to see so many creative people!
And of course, our community, and all that came to partake in the festivities. Without you, there would be no festival! I look forward to getting started right away for next year!

We had the chalk art today that tuned out to be amazing. We ended up with 13 kids participating ( not all shown, some came early and some came later). At the farmers market pavilion is where you will see all the art.

The fireworks are still on for tonight. Light rain is not an issue.
They will be going off at the east end of the central park, by the river.
9:30-9:45 is the expected start time.
Please park in the lot, not on the grass.
They should go high enough for people to see.
The school parking lot would probably work as well.

Please note that if you plan to be in the parade, line up will be a long the Northside of Arthur Street. Please DO NOT park in the school parking lot. Thank you. Line up will begin at 10am Saturday morning. June 1.

Are there any local youth organizations that would be interested in selling lilacs during the Lilac Festival? Please reach out to me and let me know. I'd welcome more than one group.
4-H, FFA, Girl Scouts, church youth groups... Sports teams.

Are you looking for a way to gain exposure for your business? Decorate a car or wagon and drive it through the Barryton Lilac Festival Parade! It is free to participate!
Do you belong to an equestrian club? We'd love to see you in the parade!
Do you have an antique car or motorcycle?
Come and decorate a bicycle, a side by side, a golf cart, 4 Wheeler, you name it.
I would like to put out an invitation to all area groups, clubs, sports teams, and churches.
Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cheer teams, Martial Arts, Dance Studios, Gymnastics, Football, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, T-Ball, Band, Drama. Youth Groups, Tractor Clubs, Car Clubs, 4-H Clubs, Equestrian Teams or Clubs.
I want to make the Lilac Festival parade bigger than ever. The parade will be on June 1 at 11. Line up will be at the Barryton Elementary School at 10am.
Build a float, decorate a car, wagon, or bike.
Our theme is 50s Sock Hop in honor of Jake Slater coming.
I would also like to invite all clubs, groups, and teams to stick around after the parade to offer an info table of your group. Hold member sign ups, hold fundraisers, offer games. You name it.
The parade is free to join in, and free to watch! Set up in the park is also free for non-profits.

Do you have a non-profit you are looking to get exposure for? Need to raise a little money? I'd like to invite all non-profits to come and set up info booths on Saturday during the Barryton Lilac Festival from 10-8. Tables spaces are free for non-profits. Let me know if you are interested!

We are now accepting vendors for the 2024 Barryton Lilac Festival. The festival will be held May 31, June 1&2 2024. Hours are Friday 2-8, Saturday 10-8 and Sunday 10-4. Spaces are 11x11. And are $50 for all 3 days.

I don't even know where to begin. It was hot! It was dry! But we still had a great turnout! This event takes a lot of time, money and muscle. We have a great group of volunteers! As well as a great group of sponsors! Thank you to all of you! Thank you to the vendors that came out, and to the customers that shopped!
Thank you to all of the festival goers for coming and riding the rides, for bringing your car to the car show, for coming to participate in the parade, and so much more!
And to the community for all of your support!! We are proud to be a part of a great town!! Now onto next year!
