I’ve been a bit quiet this week because I’ve been at church camp with my daughter! I was a “cabin mom” and also had the opportunity to teach a class all about flower farming and the many (and I mean MANY) parallels to being planted in Christ and growing our faith in him. I also led a craft which of course had to involve flowers. 💐

I came home tired, yet with a renewed energy to look unto Christ and more diligently hold on to his hand and word.

And wouldn’t you know it, I also came home to new flowers blooming! Today has been a bit of a recovery day (I’m looking at you- laundry), but the flower stand will be open Saturday morning from 8AM - Noon. If you were hoping to grab flowers today, will you let me know? I can probably whip out a few bouquets today if needed. 🫶

Lisianthus alert! I’m curious- who followed me this time last year and remembers the lisis? If you’re new, you’re in for a treat. This fun flower looks almost like a rose and lasts for weeks in a vase. I’m trying some new colors this year and can’t wait! First pic is from this morning, second pic is from last summer. It’ll be a week or two before they are in full bloom.

That being said, I have to cut some flowers to keep all the plants happy, so I have two more slots available for a Friday morning pickup of a custom wrapped bouquet. DM me if you need one!

And we are live! It seems the worst of the storm is behind us, so come and get your bouquets! I thought today’s bouquets needed a little extra pizazz, so I found some gerbera daisies to throw in there. I love using my own home grown flowers 99% of the time, but sometimes sourcing from a friend, other flower farmer, or even the local grocery store is necessary for me to give you something fresh and unique each week! Today’s bouquets features day lilies from my friend Emily Fowler and gerbera daisies from Homeland. 😅 Enjoy!

I dislike being beholden to the Facebook algorithm, but it’s the platform that I rely on for sales and comments and shares REALLY help! ☺️ I have 20 of these amazingly eclectic bouquets today, and they need homes!
