Preparing a Top Round Roast for fresh made Roast Beef Sandwiches. When cooking most all of my dishes I start from scratch. The deliciousness of a fresh made meal out ways any time saving benefits.
I love the sizzling sound of the browning process, you can almost hear the deliciousness. #sandwiches #food #beef #browning #process #catering #fortheloveoffoodvt
While I typically like to get our Cooking in the Garden shows out earlier in the month, I don't mind waiting a bit when it was as much fun as it was.
The lovely Amanda Dagesse joined me this month and we made PROTEIN BALLS! Both of us are so active and live by "go, go, go" so these easy snacks are incredible during the summer months when we don't even what time we will be sitting down to finally eat. These protein balls are quick and you can customize by adding in your favorite ingredients.

As always a warm thank you to Hilarie Wright, owner of Garden Shop, Todd Pronto of NekTv and Amanda Dagesse for making this month's show happen.

Today we celebrate MOMS and all of the wonderful that they are.
We wrapped up the Mother's Day contest by filming this month's Cooking in the Garden with our first place winners. Olivia and her mom, Barbara Limoge-King the Barton Golf Club came on and shared their incredible Spicy Peanut Noodles recipe.
"I am truly grateful and blessed. My mom taught me so much with just one recipe. She taught me that teaching is a form on love, presentation is everything and peanut butter is truly is the BOMB!" -Olivia
Barb and Olivia are naturals in and around the kitchen and invite all of you to try this recipe. If you are able to create this meal, or any meal, with your mom we surely encourage you to do so.

A huge thank you to our guests hosts Olivia and her mom Barb, winners of our Mother's Day contest. Also Hilarie Wright of Garden Shop and Tod Pronto of Nek-Tv - Public Access Television.
From my kitchen to yours, Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms past and present who pour every ounce of their love into their children.
I have a new boss! My spicy niece, Paisley, joined me in the kitchen to make one of our favorites, mac n’ cheese bites. It’s the perfect appetizer or comfort snack. And obviously, kid approved!
We had so much fun recording this video. Paisley and I invite you to grab your kiddos and make your own video of you cooking your bites. Recipe will be in the comments.

Stay tuned for our next Cooking in the Garden show! 🧐
Everything is better with Maple!
For this month's Cooking in the Garden we took it to the farm!!! I joined Stephanie and Nick on location at their magic factory better known as Maple Hill Farm - Barton, Vermont. We whipped up a delicious Maple Chomeur, with Maple Hill Farm's very own Maple Curry spice. Enjoy the video and hop over to our website: https://www.fortheloveoffoodvt.com/ to get the full recipe and see any prior Cooking in the Garden shows you might have missed. Please excuse the noise from the mixer, it doesn't last long! Next time we will place it futher away from the microphone.
Don't forget to stop in and see Hilarie Wright and her team at the Garden Shop to pick up some of Maple Hill Farm's Spices!
I want to thank Nick Lussier and Stephanie LaBarron of Maple Hill Farm (https://maplehillfarmsvt.com/) for hosting us this month. Click their link and check out everything they offer, from maple syrup to apparel. And of course Tod Pronto of NEKTV. The show airs Tuesday & Friday at 11:30am.
