Are you a Christmas Lights Enthusiast who can’t get enough?
As most of you know, Chris Clark has been selected as a contestant on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight and his episode will air on 12/12/24! We are looking for people who are willing to assist with driving a shuttle bus, crowd control, passing out candy canes, donating cookies and making hot chocolate. In addition to the massive light display, Chris hands out hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes – all free! Sign ups are now available for the 36 days of Volunteering. Many of you have been reaching out to ask what you can do to help out, so we have created a quick and easy way to sign up. You simply click the link provided, scroll through the calendar to find the night(s) you would like to help and then pick the activity you want to do and click Sign Up. If someone has already taken that spot, the button will be grayed out and you just need to pick another night or another activity.

It’s free to sign up – just provide your name and email. Sign Up Genius will send reminders when the date gets close. If you sign up for something and then need to cancel, that is easy too. Simply go in and cancel and your time slot will immediately become available for someone else. No need to call or text – it’s all done auto-magically.
Chris will be turning on the lights for the public on Thanksgiving night and will run every night through New Year’s Eve. During the week, the hours are 6-10 and on the weekends, 6-11. If you sign up, please attempt to fill as much of the time slot as you can (but we understand if you can’t attend the entire time).
In addition to these sign up activities, we are also still accepting donations of candy canes (any size), Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate powder, 10-12 oz insulated cups with lids, store bought cookies, and zipper sandwich bags. We have a group who is willing to stuff the bags with cookies once we have them donated. If you want to donate items, reach out to me at [email protected] and I will arrange a drop off.
As always, we very much appreciate any help and are looking forward to a great turnout and a very Merry Christmas season.
