I know everyone was so proud of Chris Clark for winning his episode of Great Christmas Light Fight! He is so grateful for all the support that this group has shown him and very much appreciates all the encouragement and kind words.

He will have the display open until 12/31. He would love to see you and your family there if you haven't already visited.

Just a reminder that we are still looking for those who would like to volunteer to help for the next couple of weeks. We still need people who are willing to drive the bus and donate cookies. You can sign up here:

Are you a Christmas Lights Enthusiast who can’t get enough?

As most of you know, Chris Clark has been selected as a contestant on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight and his episode will air on 12/12/24! We are looking for people who are willing to assist with driving a shuttle bus, crowd control, passing out candy canes, donating cookies and making hot chocolate. In addition to the massive light display, Chris hands out hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes – all free! Sign ups are now available for the 36 days of Volunteering. Many of you have been reaching out to ask what you can do to help out, so we have created a quick and easy way to sign up. You simply click the link provided, scroll through the calendar to find the night(s) you would like to help and then pick the activity you want to do and click Sign Up. If someone has already taken that spot, the button will be grayed out and you just need to pick another night or another activity.

It’s free to sign up – just provide your name and email. Sign Up Genius will send reminders when the date gets close. If you sign up for something and then need to cancel, that is easy too. Simply go in and cancel and your time slot will immediately become available for someone else. No need to call or text – it’s all done auto-magically.

Chris will be turning on the lights for the public on Thanksgiving night and will run every night through New Year’s Eve. During the week, the hours are 6-10 and on the weekends, 6-11. If you sign up, please attempt to fill as much of the time slot as you can (but we understand if you can’t attend the entire time).

In addition to these sign up activities, we are also still accepting donations of candy canes (any size), Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate powder, 10-12 oz insulated cups with lids, store bought cookies, and zipper sandwich bags. We have a group who is willing to stuff the bags with cookies once we have them donated. If you want to donate items, reach out to me at [email protected] and I will arrange a drop off.

As always, we very much appreciate any help and are looking forward to a great turnout and a very Merry Christmas season.

As we get closer to lights on, we are preparing in more ways than just putting up decorations. Last year the display absolutely blew up greater than our wildest expectations, and to be honest, we were not ready to handle the traffic (literally). Our intention is only to bring joy and happiness to all during the Christmas season. Unfortunately, we brought so much joy to our little neighborhood that our visitors had no place to park, and our neighbors had to deal with blocked driveways and inability to navigate to their own houses. This year we are working with Batavia Township, Ohio to help alleviate some of these issues, but we will need help from our visitors. Mainly, please do not park on the south side of Pleasant Meadows Drive, all parked cars should be on the north, heading as if leaving the neighborhood. Real Life Assembly of God, immediately across from Pleasant Acres, is graciously allowing us to use their parking lot daily for our visitors. Many nights we will have a shuttle bus, donated by Cornerstone Baptist Church, running to transport to the display. However, it is only a 4 minute walk if you come on a night the shuttle is not running. Please be respectful of our neighbors, they have to deal with our craziness every night during the season, and we really do not want to shut down early again. Oh, and while you are here, you need to check out Moeller's Projection Light Show right down the street, you won't be disappointed!

Our air date has been announced! Tune in Thursday December 12th, 9:00 pm on ABC to see if Clark’s Crazy Christmas Display will earn the Great Christmas Light Fight trophy!

Have you ever wanted to be part of the action in a major Christmas Lights display? Now is your chance! We are actively looking for Volunteers to help with Clark's Crazy Christmas Display for this upcoming season.

Chris plans on starting the light display on Thanksgiving and will have the lights on each night from 6-10PM weekdays and 6-11PM weekends. This year, the crowds are expected to be heavier than normal given that he is a contestant on ABC's Christmas Light Fight that begins airing right after Thanksgiving. He has not been told which week he will be shown, but is expecting the National publicity to draw even more people and more local news, etc.

Every night Chris hands out cookies and hot chocolate free to anyone who wants it. He has been managing this himself in year's past (including paying for it and baking cookies and making hot chocolate every night) but this year I am trying to get some help from anyone who would be interested. Please forward this message along to any family or friends outside of our community who would be willing to help.

We are looking for people who are willing to do any of the following:

-Donate cups, hot chocolate mix, cookies (either store bought or homemade), baggies to put 2 cookies in per person. This donation can either be a personal donation or if you have connections through work with a company who would be willing to help out, either would be much appreciated. Just reach out to me to arrange the details.

-People who are willing to pass out hot chocolate and cookies each night.

-People who are willing to help direct traffic during the weekday evening (the police will be directing traffic on weekends)

-People who can drive a shuttle bus from the church across the street and drop people off at Chris's house. He has secured the bus and the church is allowing parking on their property.

-Continued assistance with setting up the display. There are still several pieces that need brought over from the warehouse and need set up. If you drive by and see him working, he is happy to have anybody jump on in and help.

I'm working on setting up a Meal Train app where anybody can go on and pick what days they want to volunteer for any of the above. I just wanted to put this on anybody's radar who can help, especially with donations as we are less than a month until it kicks off.

As always, Chris is very grateful for any help he receives and hopes to see everyone out at the display this year!
