Mamas and daddies, we see you.

Last month, we hosted our third prom since COVID, beginning with Aiken High School, Wagener-Salley, and, most recently, King Academy.

Parents, at each one of those events, your children handled themselves appropriately, picked up after themselves, said thank you, no ma’am and yes sir. There weren’t bags of stray trash in the yard; no splatters of urine on the toilet seats or wads of paper towels thrown haphazardly on the bathroom floor.

Not one child sat alone or danced alone.

Mamas and daddies, we see you teaching acts of kindness, responsibility and gratitude. We definitely see you.

P.S. Can you help us with these full-on adults we clean up after every weekend? Most of them need spanking.
