Our Story

Located between Cincinnati, OH and Indianapolis, Indiana, Walhill Farm has become a popular event center, an award-winning restaurant, a butcher shop, and a sustainable working farm. Walhill Farm hosts weddings, special events, fundraisers, and concerts. Every aspect of Walhill’s multifaceted business is focused on local, sustainable, humane and just plain ol’ wonderful.

Besides stunning scenery, Walhill Farm is well-known for its unique wedding and event venues. The Barn, a former horse barn converted to an event space, comfortably holds up to 550 party-goers. We’re also famous for The Lodge, a “Bavarian-style” lodge that was once a chicken coop. This is the event space where we host smaller wedding receptions, off-site corporate meetings, and other events. In addition, we host monthly special dinners at The Lodge. All of our meats come from our state-certified butcher shop, and you can even take some of our famous cuts of meat with you to enjoy at home. The 250-acre farm holds 26 acres of hardwood forest, 10 acres of gardens, 3 large fish ponds, and 190 acres of pasture. Need a place to stay? The Inn At Walhill Farm features The Honeymoon Room, The Caribbean Room, The Hoosier room (ADA compliant), and the Pony Room.
