Recently, we had the pleasure of connecting with , author of Foraging for the Rest of Us. Together, we are blending our shared passion for cooking with wild foods and hosting gatherings to create something we are deeply passionate about and eager to share with you!

Imagine treating your guests to a thoughtfully curated menu featuring locally sourced ingredients with accents of foraged foods, connecting you and your guests to the authentic flavors of Maine with each bite and sip.

Our day began with a tour of the stunning , where we proudly spend most of our time planning weddings and events. With its coastal views, historic charm, and nearby nature trails, the venue is the perfect setting to host this unique gathering.

We wrapped up our brainstorming session over a delicious lunch at and we’re now diving into the early stages of planning and exploration.

Our very last wedding of the 2024 season was celebrated at the beautiful 1774 Inn – easily one of our FAVORITE venues to create and share these cherished moments.

Jenn and David were the perfect couple to close out the season with!

Limited openings remain for our private hospitality services and small gatherings in 2025, as we are almost fully booked for large weddings and events.

Sunflower Events - (Sunflower Dream Promotions llc) - founded in 2022 with a simple idea: Make every event amazing by bringing people's vision to life, turning special moments into unforgettable memories. The initial focus was on public facing events that celebrated Midcoast Maine's rich heritage through a blend of culinary delights, scenic views, and authentic sounds.

In 2024 an opportunity to bring these elements into the wedding scene emerged and we were thrilled to take it! Feeling like it was a fresh start, or a new beginning, we thought it fitting to have a new logo designed!
