Sending prayers and thanks to all the crews who have been working so hard on the mountain. Also, we are sending our prayers to those who live so incredibly close to the fire.
In daylight and darkness it is quit an emotional sight. The true emotional sight was yesterday when we went to drop off supplies at the municipal building, the line of traffic also dropping off supplies coming from both directions patiently waiting their turn. It’s amazing how quick our communities are willing to help when there’s an emergency; wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
Now all we can do is pray for the safety of all the crews. Also, a prayer for a much needed slow soaking rain wouldn’t hurt either.

Another busy weekend in the books. We went from Northampton High School Homecoming, to a beautiful fall wedding, to helping a young man get engaged in a pumpkin patch and finally to our sunflower for our guess how tall contest finally blooming. Never a dull moment at Hayes Flowers.
