I got to host the sweetest night out for the moms in our homeschool co-op (Wild+Free-Oxford). We had a picnic style charcuterie dinner and each friend brought one portion of the board. So all the cheeses, or all the sweets 😁 it worked out perfectly and was just super fun! We got to visit (without interruption!) and then get some ideas on paper for this upcoming season.
The homeschooling life wouldn’t be nearly as fun without this awesome group of ladies the Lord has brought together and I’m so thankful for each of them and their kiddos. If you’re new to homeschooling, find a community and get plugged in-or create the community yourself! 🙋🏼♀️
If you are interested in having a night out in the flower field as well-we are open for group reservations. Gather at least 6 friends and reach out to me! You can have a quiet picnic at sunset too and then go home with loads of u-pick flowers 💐

I’m so thankful for my handy husband who is willing to work hard to bring my ideas and dreams to life. It turned out better than I imagined with the perfect little stained glass window and all 🥹
Our stand will have all you need for self serve U-picks (clippers, baskets, directions, etc). A large jar full of flowers will be $20 & a small cup full will be $10. We will be open for self serve style U-picks on the weekend Thursday-Sunday (9-9). If closed due to another scheduled event or low flower stock we will post in advance.
AND we will offer pre-made bouquets most weekends. Small bundles for $10 and larger bundles for $20. First come first serve-we’ll share when they are ready in the stand 😉 and always happy to accommodate custom orders.

Let’s call her Bertha 😁 She may be a little wonky this season but we’ll get her looking fine before long 💖 I’m focusing on adding native perennials this year and while the Butterfly Bush isn’t technically a native plant, she will make a great addition! Some native plants we’ve added to our flower field: -Baptisia -Aster -Joe Pye Weed -Penstemon -Compass Plant -Ironweed Native plants are locally adapted to the climate and soil conditions here and can provide nectar, pollen, and seeds for native butterflies, birds, and bees. Three photos from 2023 that make me amazed at Gods goodness. I never expected to be a flower farmer but wow was it a blast. I hope the Lord, in His kindness, allows me many more growing seasons tending these little planted seeds. He brings the warmth, He brings the showers, He clothes them in beauty…I just get a front row seat.
Oh what a perfectly lovely fall night we had last night for our first ever Fall Flower Fest 🍁🌻🧡 My heart is just full to overflowing and I’m so thankful for all the new friends we got to meet and all the joy these little planted seeds brought. We were able to raise $360 to contribute to the cause at the Oxford Women's Care Center and we couldn’t have done it without you all! Thank you to everyone who has supported our first year of flower farming! What a way to wrap up our first growing season. 🥰 Do you have any suggestions/ideas for me?! Send them my way…!
