Our WildFLOUR event tonight with @wildloafbakery was so lovely and turned out even better with the few quick adjustments we had to make. We relocated to Kelsey’s kitchen island instead of the wind blown flower field and I think it was just right 👌🏻💞 We designed hand-tied wildflower bouquets at our flower bar and then shifted to learning the ins and outs of sourdough baking with hands on steps! I got to host the sweetest night out for the moms in our homeschool co-op (Wild+Free-Oxford). We had a picnic style charcuterie dinner and each friend brought one portion of the board. So all the cheeses, or all the sweets 😁 it worked out perfectly and was just super fun! We got to visit (without interruption!) and then get some ideas on paper for this upcoming season.
The homeschooling life wouldn’t be nearly as fun without this awesome group of ladies the Lord has brought together and I’m so thankful for each of them and their kiddos. If you’re new to homeschooling, find a community and get plugged in-or create the community yourself! 🙋🏼♀️

I’m so thankful for my handy husband who is willing to work hard to bring my ideas and dreams to life. It turned out better than I imagined with the perfect little stained glass window and all 🥹
Our stand will have all you need for self serve U-picks (clippers, baskets, directions, etc). A large jar full of flowers will be $20 & a small cup full will be $10. We will be open for self serve style U-picks on the weekend Thursday-Sunday (9-9). If closed due to another scheduled event or low flower stock we will post in advance.
AND we will offer pre-made bouquets most weekends. Small bundles for $10 and larger bundles for $20. First come first serve-we’ll share when they are ready in the stand 😉 and always happy to accommodate custom orders.

Let’s call her Bertha 😁 She may be a little wonky this season but we’ll get her looking fine before long 💖 I’m focusing on adding native perennials this year and while the Butterfly Bush isn’t technically a native plant, she will make a great addition! Some native plants we’ve added to our flower field: -Baptisia -Aster -Joe Pye Weed -Penstemon -Compass Plant -Ironweed Native plants are locally adapted to the climate and soil conditions here and can provide nectar, pollen, and seeds for native butterflies, birds, and bees.
