About us
RDC is a group of locals who love dance and want to bring performances to the Midcoast community. Our goal is to hold classes that teach adults dance technique, offer performance opportunities to artists, and eventually pay dancers for their work. RDC mainly focuses on contemporary ballet, a genre of dance that has exploded in the past decade in the US.

One show we had Mckayla stage managing and she brought the gift of college knowledge along with her. She taught us, “the lift call” - where before a show or dress rehearsal you practice lifts to prevent injury and feel confident. We love this idea, and have kept it ever since!
