A Dixie furniture beauty - don’t know if I’ll paint her - somehow I’ve been trending for nice, beautiful wood pieces here in Louisiana although in Florida, the lighter colors work well. And a few little chairs and now I’m off Facebook marketplace 😂

Gave this old rusty terrarium a facelift today and it’s become my new bird feeder - moved it from the trees because the squirrels are relentless - surely they’ll find their way up but the cardinal couple came right away & I have doves again!

This has become my new bird feeder and so happy to have doves again like in FL! Decided to give this rusty terrarium a facelift and moved out from under the trees where the squirrels were invading - I’m sure they will find a way to the food!

What a fun “flash mob” tonight! The Downtown East Social Ride members arrived - every Monday they ride their bikes to explore the history of the City. And the Grandson of Culotta’s Grocery, my building, Chris Culotta had some great stories about how Huey P. Long used to sneak in the back door & crouch down behind the counter and drink beer! Thank you Samantha Morgan for bringing your riding club here tonight - it brings me great joy to see people loving this space!

What’s cooking on this “snow day” (hard freeze, no snow) in Louisiana - here’s a little soul food to keep you warm! Tried inventing a new jiffy muffin recipe Mexican cheeses, trilogy & lots butter in pre-heated baking dish - didn’t rise but came out just like hush puppies without the frying mess!
