Time for an “owner spotlight”!

“Born and raised in Carencro, LA (near Lafayette) I have always had a passion for people, food and having a great time. I love making connections and motivating people. I have worked in banking my entire career and in addition I have always dreamed of owning my own business although I never really knew what exactly I wanted to do. Katie whom I have known for over 10 years was getting married in October of last year. I had been praying about my business and knew right then that opening Bougie Backdrops was what I wanted to pursue. We are able to meet new people and put smiles on their faces by providing a backdrop, champagne wall, etc. We alleviate our clients from the stress of having to come up with their own statement piece for their events.”

Heather shares a blended family of 3 kids, 1 grandchild and 2 pups with her boyfriend Darryl.

“I have always worked with business owners in my professional career but I never imagined myself as owning a business. And I have to say, it has far exceeded any expectation I have had! There are days when we don’t stop to eat, and there are days when we both look at each other after a 17 hours of non-stop and just say ‘what just happened’. But doing Bougie with Heather has become a way to provide for my family in ways I couldn’t have before. It has opened doors and afforded us the opportunity to meet some pretty incredible people along the way.”

We are the owners of Bougie Backdrops and we specialize in backdrops and statement pieces for your bridal showers, weddings, parties, etc… We have flower walls, hedge walls, shimmer walls, a champagne wall, furniture, neon signs, etc….

Client experience and developing relationships are what Katie and I enjoy most. We are a preferred vendor for a few venues in our area, however, you can book with us for any venue. Our company is registered and we are fully insured. We have tons of references that we can provide as well as 5🌟reviews on our page.

We deliver, setup and pickup for you. We are located in Baton Rouge and deliver to surrounding areas.
