Who We Are
From our humble beginnings as The Original Crawdaddy’s, NeNe and the crew have been serving the greater Baton Rouge area since 2003. With son Adam and close friend Tyler Downing, together we have grown the business from NeNe’s own backyard. Catering tailgates and collegiate functions while attending LSU, it all started from our passion for food in an attempt to make a few extra bucks for beer money.
Needless to say, season after season, we have perfected the catering craft and in 2016, decided to open up a brick & mortar location to bring their Cajun cuisine to the public. Years of crawfish boiling experience paved the way for us to serve our famous grab-n-go seafood, and from then on, NeNe’s Catering was born.
Named so after his grandkids’ self-titled moniker, it’s no surprise that NeNe and our full-scale, family-friendly eatery is loved by locals in the greater Baton Rouge area. Built with love from the ground up, NeNe’s is a place we are proud of and a must-visit for those seeking a fun atmosphere, traditional Cajun catering, and quality service year-round.
