💘One of my first assistants was Rachel Maas (who is now married and working for the Lt Governor) contacted me 1 year ago for help with her brother’s wedding which happened last Sat. The Annual CPEX Smart Growth Summit was a joy to help create!🌲 The Manship Theatre was filled with guests from all around so we wanted to make sure we showed some good ol’ Louisiana love, culture and hospitality! 🖼️ We thought it would be cool to include some local favs in the mix, including some groovy local artists including @tjblacktheartist painting attendee’s auras- cool, right!? And @keithcartoonmandouglas drawing caricatures! Guests were so happy to take home these cool unique pieces after the Summit! 🎼 Local sound flavor provided by the dynamic and always jawdropping @quianalynell and a trip down da bayou was given by @copo_fosho with some creole folklore and a French serenade with a fiddle! The 2023 Bright Lights Awards Dinner, recognized the recipients of the LEH’s Humanities Awards, honoring individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the study and understanding of the humanities in Louisiana.🩵🩷💛Check out the neon tables, bright neon flowers, and of course eye-popping bright balloons. ✨ Spring Equinox Party in the country in the beautiful town of St. Francisville…..what a blast & a much needed weekend getaway. 🍄 This past weekend was an absolutely FARM-ulous adventure! 😂 ✨Our good friends at @bayousarahfarms hosted a fantastic party to celebrate the Spring Equinoxaling with a mind blowing farm tour that shared all of her sustainable farm practices!! The real deal is what is happening at Bayou Sarah y’all! 🦬 We nuzzled with water buffalo, bawked at chickens, snuggled tiny baby humans and enjoyed a fabulous farm-to-table potluck meal followed by some amazing lives music by @handmademomentsmusic and Mass Appeal! 🍳 All that plus a badass breakfast!! Thank you Sarah for an amazing respite from the rat race. Much love ❤️
