Join us for an exhilarating afternoon ride from downtown to Mid-City's KOK Wings & Things. 🚴‍♂️🌮 Meet us on Sunday, May 5th at 12:30 PM, with rides starting at 1 PM and our finale at 4 PM. Return rides depart at 3 PM and 6 PM. Tickets are $20 per person. Don't miss the 'Cinco De Krawfish Market' at KOK, featuring live Zydeco music by Jeremy Fruge, delicious crawfish, and a vibrant open-air market by Local Pop Up, celebrating KOK's 1 year anniversary. MLK Holiday BR - Vendor Fair

Rescheduled

Geaux Ride has rescheduled the event to February 24, 2024.

This grant will cover fees for 10 Vendors!

MLK Night Out is a glow in the dark unity bicycle ride from Geaux Ride to KOK Wings & Things located in Electric Depot on Government Street.

This event expects 50 to 100 participants, with the ability for vendors to attract walk up clients as well.

Schedule:
Saturday February 24, 2024:
5:30 PM - Setup
6:00 PM - Vending opens
6:30 PM - Unity Ride Arrives
8:00 PM - Unity Ride Leaves
8:15 PM - Cleaning and Break Down begins

Tables, Chairs and 6 Tents will be provided with generators to power any lights. Please bring extension cords.

There will be no space for food trucks at this current event.

Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome Councilwoman Carolyn Coleman Safe Hopeful Healthy BR created MLK Holiday BR to serve all of Baton Rouge and help the community come together to get involved. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a prominent figure in Black History. We celebrate his legacy all year long!
