OK, so I know this is might seem early, but I've started thinking about Christmas presents!

One of my favorite places to shop is the monthly Baton Rouge Arts Market downtown. The Baton Rouge Arts Market is held the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. - noon in conjunction with the Red Stick Farmers Market at 5th and Main streets in downtown Baton Rouge. The Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas they have it every Saturday!

There are several golf courses in the Greater Baton Rouge area. My husband plays at least a couple of times a week. His favorite public course is probably Santa Maria: https://golf.brec.org/courses/santamaria/
But he'll be the first to tell you, there are plenty of options! If you're a golfer, Baton Rouge is a great place to be!

The opening hole at Santa Maria is a challenging par 4. At 420 yards, a lengthy tee shot is needed to have a manageable approach to a green guarded by bunkers, front and back. Parring here is a great way to start your round.
