In the spirit of Valentine's Day, we want to share with you a true UpTown love story and our first ever wedding! Meet Katie and Tyler:

“We met while working at UpTown, and started chatting when Katie slid into Tyler's Slack DMs, asking if he'd like to climb together some time and giving him her number. He wasted no time and texted her immediately.

After texting non-stop for eight days, watching Lord of the Rings and experiencing some serious cuddle tension, walking the LSU lakes, and climbing together, Tyler asked Katie on a date - she said yes! Then they watched the first episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender together (Katie had never seen it). The rest is basically history. She joined him on a trip to Norway 8mo later (she bought the tickets two months into dating), and Tyler proposed to her there.

This past November, we got married on the lead wall. Surrounded by our family, friends, and our Uptown community ❤️”

❣ 2 for $20 day passes for you and your partner, excluding harness and shoe rentals.

❣ A buy one, get one "Boolay" class, where you will learn how to properly belay, tie-in, and safely climb with your partner. Sign-up through our website or ask the front desk! Class starts at 6PM

Looking to jump (or climb) back into that New Year's resolution of hitting the gym every week? Uptown has you covered with our Resolution Revolution month-long event. Starting tomorrow, new members will be able to sign up for a membership without our standard $50 enrollment fee.

📆 When: February 1st - February 28th

🖊 How: click the link in our bio to sign-up through our website, or stop by in-person! If you purchase online, the fee will be credited to your account!

Terminated members must reconcile any past balances. All new members must complete the Membership Agreement.
