Ready to bring your big ideas to life and make Battle Creek even better? We’ve got funding for creative projects that boost neighborhood pride, community vibes, and collaboration.

• Applications open: January 6, 2025
• Applications close: February 17, 2025

Who’s Eligible?
If you’ve received a Make Battle Creek More Awesome or placemaking grant before, sit this one out—we’re spreading the love to fresh ideas and new leaders!

What We’re Looking For
Unique event ideas and neighborhood projects that:
• Bring people together
• Support local businesses
• Promote sustainability
• Celebrate diversity and inclusion

Think live music, competitions, murals, team activities, or wild ideas we haven’t thought of yet! If it builds community and inspires others, we’re in.

How It Works
• Winners get up to $3,000 to bring their project to life (you can’t pay yourself, though).
• You’ll need a fiscal sponsor—a nonprofit or church—to accept the funds, but don’t sweat it! We’ll help you figure this out.

Soup-R-Chili Puzzle Night at TBC! 🥣🧩🍻

Join us for the first installment of our Soup-R-Chili Series at Territorial Brewing Company—a night of fun, flavor, and friendly competition!

Gather a team of up to 4 puzzle enthusiasts, but you do NOT need a full team of 4 to participate.

A $40 ticket pays for the ENTIRE team! The ticket includes a pint for each team member, a bowl of soup or chili, and a 500 piece puzzle! Race against the clock to complete the puzzle! ⏱️🧩
