Okay so here is where I am at LOL
I have built the porch, I have ordered the backdrop (finally). I have family and friends picking up random marketplace items for me LOL thank you mom & Erik! I promise the day the backdrop comes I will get over there and put it all together and get samples going. I am going to open up booking because I know you guys trust me and all my wild and crazy ideas. Here is what the backdrop and porch look like. It will be a cozy porch, pillows, blankets, lights, garland, and more. Here is the booking link. Any questions please feel free to reach out. If you would like a beach session do it soon, the evenings are getting chilly. If the backdrop comes sooner then I will open up an earlier date. As always book early as it does get cold the further into November we go. Looking forward to another great year.

I know this is SO late for me to not have a full Christmas plan yet. I am hoping to order the backdrop today, there were some minor revisions that needed to be done by the designer. Fingers crossed that will be done today. I will be bringing the bounce house back this year. And I will as always offer beach sessions like below ( how stinking cute is this). I am going to be working on the "front porch" part of what I am doing today. I will do my best to offer a day in September and then my usual October November. Will have dates next week. When you photograph anywhere on Fire Island and there is a chance of storms you basically have to play it hour by hour and then nothing ever happens here. Luckily all my repeats understand that, and we played this session literally hour by hour and we made it " before the rain" that never happened. Tickles, Smiles, swinging, and the best smiles.

She said YES ( twice) because proposals are the most stressful days of my life LOL. With the humidity difference I have to leave my camera outside to adjust ( no problem) so I do that, I get all my setting ready, take a test shot. And just when he gets down on on knee the INSIDE OF MY LENS FOGS UP!! I panic but keep shooting. This has never happened to me before. SO I played it off like I normally have the guy get down again just to make sure I got the shot. Thankfully he didn't question me and did what I asked LOL!! ( he also knows this whole story) Congrats to the happy couple!!

** Christmas update, I am doing a custom backdrop this year because I can't find what I want. Once I get a PDF of what it will look like I will share it. I am so excited for this one. Because you all know I can't do something simple.

Because he deserves his own post! What a handsome pup who did NOT enjoy being taken to the ocean LOL! He pulled on the leash as hard as he could to get back to dry land.

Christmas is in the works, I am sketching what I have in my mind creating Pinterest boards, and filling my amazon cart. Going over it tomorrow with mom and dad and let's bring it to life. Think cozy log cabin vibes, browns, greens, warm string lights.
