Margaret's Chruch, had a vision of reviving an Old World tradition that began centuries ago in Mediterranean fishing communities, when fishermen received a blessing from the local priest that was meant to insure a safe and bountiful season.

This response from Gumbo Cookoff organizer. When the cook off is over I always ask if the contestants want to donate some of their gumbo to sell. If so, we sale it for 10 a quart. But that's if they donate it.

We had a clean up day at St. Margaret's today. Some of the Ladies Sodality did a fantastic job of tidying up Mary's garden in the front yard. Well done Tien, Ha, Rhonda, Karen, Natali, Carolyn special rhanks to Mr. Joe for picking up some mulch so we could finish the job today.
