Good beautiful morning!! I have the flower stand stocked full of gorgeous bouquets today. The gardens are an explosion of color and after nine months of growing, the lisianthus are in bloom. I love it when I have a full palate of different flowers to create bouquets. Bring some of this color and beauty into your home or get the perfect gift of flowers for someone special.

Good Morning and Happy chilly Sunday!
Due to rain and lack of sunshine, my flowers are refusing to re-bloom. I am going to give the gardens a rest and a couple of days to heal and rejuvenate so I will not have bouquets in the stand for a day or two. Thank you for your understanding.

Finally we are open for the 2024 season 🌺💐. After nearly 6” of rain this past week, causing a slight delay, we are ready.

Hello Flower Lovers! Welcome to our seventh season here at The Flower Farm at Pierport. It seems so good to be back online for the 2024 season. We can’t wait to see all of our amazing customers/friends again and to meet new faces as well. We absolutely love flower farming, but the real reward we receive for our work is meeting so many amazing people. Our supporters are the best!!

What a strange winter and spring we’ve had weather-wise. For the first time ever, we were preparing flower beds in February! This month we’ve planted a couple thousand seedlings (lisianthus, snapdragons, anonomes, and ranunculus), and seeded a few beds (larkspur). As the ground dries from this glorious rain, we will be in full planting mode through May. Weather considering, we hope to open by early-mid June.

We will be adding more fun with our specialty cut flowers this season. Please stay tuned for new fun flower activities we will be introducing. We will keep you updated in future posts.

We were so fortunate to miss the devastation caused by the hailstorm Saturday by just a few miles. Our hearts go out to our friends, customers, fellow farmers, and neighbors in Onekama who endured the brunt of the hailstorm.
