Time line & Prices for events at the Lavender House

Package 1 Available May to October
Ceremony (20 guests) taking of pictures (No set up, no food) No awning
Total Time 1 1/2 hours $300.00

Package 2 Available June and September
Ceremony (30-50 guests) small open house (with pictures) with awning one large serving table (paper plates, no linens, dishes, or small round tables) no set up time


Total time 2 hours (each additional hour is $200.00) $600.00

Package 3 Available June and September
Ceremony (50-70 guests) awning, finger food and open house (with Pictures) (Set up time ½ hour) one large serving table and five small round tables with linens (no dance floor)
Total time 3 hours (each additional hour is $200.00) $800.00

Package 4 Available June and September
Ceremony (50-80 guests) food and open house/reception (100 -200 new people coming and going) two large food tables, book signing table, 8 round tables (plus one hour set up time & one hour take down time) decorations and dance floor
Total time 4 hours (each additional hour is $200.00) $1,000.00

Package 5 Available June and September
Reception only 80 to 300 guests coming and going (one hour set up time) Food tables, serving tables, linens, decorations, dance floor, the works!! Total time 4 hours (each additional hour is $200.00) $1,000.00

Lunch only (June and September only) linens, tables, dishes, goblets, decorations
Up to 100 guests
Total time 3 hours (each additional hour is $200.00) $800

• Each event must provide 3 kitchen helpers and 3 men to move tables and take down awning

• Each event must provide clean up help

• Two hundred dollars charged For each additional hour

• Price break of $100 for piggy back weddings


We host . . . . Receptions, weddings, Birthday parties, Luncheons, garden parties, baby showers, Each event comes with, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, decorations and of course our beautiful flower gardens, garden tours, and all of your guests can leave with a homemade git from the garden! You can even Sign up to take a gardening class. Gardening Classes offered at the Lavender House starting in March and running until May classes will be held every Thursday evening and Saturday mornings
Classes offered include:
• How to Keep color in your gardens year round: every season should be beautiful, learn how to effectively use evergreens, grasses, perennials, annuals, reseeding annuals, bulbs, and more . . .
• Beginning gardening: everything from soil preparation, to flower bed maintenance, to time saving tips for w**d control and how to propagate new plants, get more for your efforts!!
• Intermediate gardening: everything from plant heights, to plant varieties, to plant preferences, sun/shade, moisture loving, acid loving, alkaline loving, to how and where to buy to find the deals!
• Advanced gardening: for those who think they know everything about gardening but . .
• Growing, drying and how to use herbs: learn culinary, medicinal, and beauty secrets not only for you but for your home, learn how and what to plant, how to dry and how to harvest, don’t buy expensive spices anymore
• Go Pot Crazy: get color out of your pots year round, learn how to make your own soil, how to make your own pots, how to use less water in your pots and more . . .
• Calendar gardening: don’t get frustrated learn what to do in your garden each month to save time and energy
• Using Rare re-seeding Annuals and everlasting flowers: Don't buy pony Pac’s or silk flowers again

Garden tip:
Fall is the time to think about spring (yes, spring). Now is the time to plant bulbs and pansies in your garden, you will definitely be rewarded come spring, I've got cheap bulbs in my drying shed (some are even 5 cents!) for more gardening tips stay tuned . . .

If you need a cheap absolutely beautiful place to take bridal pictures, family photos any pictures come on over pictures are just 50 dollars for two hours you can leave your money in the nature hut

I think I found my niche . . . has anyone else discovered how absolutely enchanted gardens are in the AM hours of summer? Any time before noon is absolutely beautiful. That being said I am encouraging 10am to noon weddings. For just $500 you get 2 hours to walk down the isle, enjoy light refreshments & take some awesome pictures!! contact Peggy for all the details

Beat the winter blahs (yep, its just around the corner) sign up now to take a home decor class in November, December or January. Meet new friends and soak up the sun in the greenhouse. Classes include wreath making, raspberry swags, stained glass oil bottles, baskets and so more, all made out of flowers, herbs and wonderful scents. Contact Peggy if you want to get signed up.
