What an awesome way to get out and enjoy our new park this summer!

We are excited to announce a new project coming this summer!
Falls Friday Market

Held Friday evenings in The Falls Park next to the Carnegie Library, we plan to have a variety of vendors, as well as food trucks & live music!

We are thankful to The City of Beaver Falls who will be co-sponsoring the live music with us.

As we plan, we are looking for vendors who would be interested in being a part of The Market. There is information & applications on our website for both contracted & registered vendors.

There will be NO vendor fee for this event!

SATURDAY SEPT 30

It's going to be a great day in Beaver Falls Community as the Beaver Falls Business District Authority hosts a variety of fun events for the whole family!

Starting at 10am, Neighborhood North: Museum of Play will have a WORLDWIDE DAY OF PLAY - stop in to their location at 716 14th Street for great family fun until 2pm.

Then, visit THE FALLS park for a Fall Festival starting at 12pm with a Petting Zoo, Wagon Rides, Food Trucks & Live Music!

DC Mexican Food, E&K Que, Al’s Pizza/ ARS Restaurant Group, Ambridge Italian Villa Food trucks, Nutty & more, Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea Company & Renaissance Popcorn will be serving up delicious treats! Visit Sweeterytogo in the 900 Block of 7th Ave and take some pics at a photo booth!

Dave & Buster's will have a prize wheel & giveaways and Fat Boys Ci**rs will be on site.

Communicycle will be distributing bikes!

And, last but not least, tour the amazing merchants of the city from 12p-4pm for the Sip In the City event! For just $10, you can sample a wide variety of local and craft beers from 17 of your favorite local business owners!

Oftentimes, we are asked why we choose to live or own a business in Beaver Falls. There are so many ways to answer that question- the people, the rich history, the community, the neighborhoods, the collaboration, the innovation… the list goes on. But today, we saw one particular reason in action- the power of a servant leader. It might seem simple, but our City Manager Charles “Mick” Jones is always paving the way forward for Beaver Falls, not just in his words but in his deeds as well. This man oversaw the development of The Falls Park way back from the beginning, and today he was not too busy or too important to take the time to pick up trash from the beautiful new addition to Seventh Avenue. This kind of leadership isn’t always glamorous, but it’s what makes a difference- and it’s found all over the place in Beaver Falls. From elected officials to business owners, from our police and fire departments, from our residents who look out and care for one another like family, we are truly part of an amazing community, and we just wanted to say- thank you. Keep it up. We are so proud to be from Beaver Falls.

One of our newest businesses and tour participants is Traverse Creek and you are going to love this stop. You will be greeted by some of the friendliest and most positive people around, but there’s also the cutest shop pup, Hildi, waiting to love you!

Chris, Jenny and the crew will be serving you from a wide selection of craft beers procured from a recent trip to Vermont. There’s too many to list here, so be sure you don’t skip this store!

Calling all pet lovers! We want YOU to come enter our Weiner Dog/Small Breed Races and Pet Costume Contest benefitting the Beaver County Humane Society THIS SATURDAY, October 16 at 4:30 in Beaver Falls!

Daschunds and other small breeds under 25 pounds will race for the title of Fastest Weiner in Beaver County, while the audience judged pet costume contest will follow. Race fee is $10, and pet costume contest is a suggested $5 donation to BCHS. All pets are welcome! Details and registration for races can be found at www.downtownbeaverfalls.com/events
