We love the versatility of a space that works for 25 to 125.

For an intimate bridal or baby shower for 25 to 30 people, the space is perfect for creating zones. There's room for games and fellowship, food and dining, and a circle of chairs for opening presents. This setup fills the space with activity and keeps your guests involved.

Plus, there's the lower level for staging and preparation, or additional activities. Some guests have a traditional shower for the ladies upstairs and have a get-together for the guys downstairs. And, we've got fenced grounds for outside activities.

We're looking for someone to help us with cleaning and light maintenance at Beavercreek Event Center.

The ideal candidate would be:
- Reliable. The space must be clean and ready for our guests.
- Good at cleaning--with high standards. Someone who takes pride in a job well done.

Some of the hours are flexible. You'd do a weekly deep clean that can be completed when we're not booked on weekdays. Additionally, you'd be responsible for cleaning and turning the space in between scheduled events--typically on weekends, but not necessarily every weekend.

There's also the opportunity to pick up additional hours with cleaning projects and light maintenance that help keep the space looking its best.

Event Tip Tuesday!
Rectangle tables are on trend. We're seeing long dramatic rows of end-to-end rectangle tables for celebrations. Long rows of rectangle tables feel like a big festive family dinner party.

When calculating the number of people to seat per table, a good rule of thumb is 24"-30" of table face per guest. Our rectangle tables seat from 6 to 10 people per table. You can do three or four per side. If you're using them stand alone, you can add one on each end and get up to ten per table.

Hey! That's our event center on the front page of the The New York Times online edition. How cool is that?

On Tuesday the 25th, the JD Vance for Ohio Senate Team rented the space for a get-out-the-vote rally. No matter your politics, you have to appreciate a candidate who supports local businesses--and gets us on the front page of the NY Times--even if we're the only ones who recognize our space. 🙂

Encourage mingling by having different offerings in multiple spots.

For networking and happy hours, where it's important to keep everyone mixing and mingling and moving around, placing different appetizers and nibbles throughout your space will keep your crowd engaged as they discover everything you have to offer. For drinks, you can have a coffee station in one part of the room or venue, a signature cocktail at another, and a bar somewhere else. It's a pro tip for preventing camping out at tables and long lines, while encouraging engagement.

We love this idea for our venue.
The two levels allow you to have a traditional girlie shower upstairs and invite the guys to enjoy watching the game, playing poker, and having their own snacks downstairs. It's a fun and thoughtful way to include the guys.

When you find the space that feels perfect, book it--especially if a specific date is important to you. I frequently tell our guests that whether it's booking with us or someone else, you should secure the date.

A great way to decide is to ask yourself if the space feels like home--a place you can picture your family, friends, or colleagues having a memorable time--and if you'll regret not booking.

Popular venues and dates fill up quickly for weddings, graduation parties, and holiday gatherings--meaning that a date that's available today might not be tomorrow. We all have the same dates on the calendar and can only book one event for each of them. Once it's gone, it's gone.

BONUS: Booking early sometimes comes with savings. For us, we're booking 2023 events now at 2022 rates. :)
