Message from the CEVA BOD President - June 27, 2024.
Dear Members of CEVA,
I hope this message finds you well. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering commitment and dedication to CEVA throughout the 23-24’ season.
Your active involvement and contributions have been instrumental in driving our mission forward and making a positive impact in our community. Whether through your leadership, support in our initiatives, or participation in our events, each of you has played a vital role in our collective success.
As we reflect on our achievements, it is clear that our strength lies in our unity and shared vision. Together, we have accomplished:
• Largest Power League in our history – 528 teams at season’s end.
• Largest Regional Championship event in our history – 452 teams.
• Largest outlay of scholarship funds in our history - $55,200
• Over $14,000 of new and lightly used equipment into the hands of groups & clubs in need, all at no cost.
• Five free sitting volleyball clinics run in conjunction with Adaptive Sports NW.
• Most members ever – over 11,600 unique individuals as of May 31 – the most in our history and the second-highest YoY growth rate among USAV’s 40 regions
• First ever silent auction and dedicated fundraising initiatives at Regionals, bringing in $2,000 to our scholarship fund.
• Over 40 teams participating in USAV National Championships.
• First time running a stand-alone tournament in Medford
• First time running a separate Boys’ Bid Tournament.
• Provided financial support to more than 50 high schools participating in boys’ volleyball
These accomplishments are a testament to your hard work and passion for our cause.
Looking ahead, I am confident that with your continued support and collaboration, we will achieve even greater milestones and continue to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
If you are interested in furthering your involvement with CEVA and exploring opportunities to serve on committees or take on leadership roles, please do not hesitate to reach out. Your insights and perspectives are invaluable, and we welcome your continued engagement.
Once again, thank you for your dedication and commitment. Your contributions are deeply valued and appreciated by the CEVA Staff, CEVA Board of Directors and the broader CEVA community.
Warm regards,
