You know you knocked it our of the park with a ceremony when you have one groomsman ask if you can help him officiate his first wedding, and then have a second groomsman come up and ask if you’re willing to travel to Utah to officiate his wedding next year!

Be aware: Not everyone who is ordained is a professional officiant. I received a call on Monday from a couple that was getting married on Thursday. Their officiant backed out no reason given. This person didn’t have a contract, didn’t have a legitimate website, and didn’t have any reviews. Luckily I was able to step in and help them.

Please make sure who you’re hiring will actually show up on your wedding day. Make sure they are bound by a contract. This happens so much.
