New designs arrived today. We hired professional mechanical engineers who have created an amazing structure that can be adapted to a wide range of vehicles. They have run structural stress analysis and confirmed this design is 100% safe and will withstand torsional and linear loads up to 100 MPH. These vehicles should never see those speeds, but it's comforting to know we have a large safety margin. These designs incorporate forward and rear facing IP65 POE IP cameras that are integrated into the new Mantis software to create a closed-loop verification of functionality and accuracy. Finally, the Mantis software is integrated into the RTRT scoring software so the video panel content can show leaderboards, last spilt data, etc. The next post will focus on the Mantis control software.

NovusMage Systems is going to be building out our lead vehicle technology to support up to a dozen vehicles. We are adding embedded cameras, replacing the top platform with anodized aluminum and using newly developed software for controlling the displays. We will be posting regular updates as the buildout progresses. Stay tuned!

I know that NovusMage Systems has been quiet lately, but it's only because we've been busy with new tech. Lots of new and interesting technology coming out this Fall.

Can't wait!! This is going to be fun. Love this race!!!

Just under a month (May 19th) to this year's Pack Monadnock 10 Mile Road Race! Thanks to our friends at Northeast Delta Dental the race is improved in so many ways!
- We have a total of $500 in cash prizes distributed amongst the top three men and women finishers
- The race is now a component of both the New England USATF Mountain Series and the 2024 Delta Dental Mountain Challenge!
- We have chip timing (from our friends Yankee Timing) to improve accuracy and timeliness of results
- Steve Delahunty will be bringing his NovusMage Systems jumbotron to the bottom of the access road (Steve recently returned from supporting the Boston Marathon)

NovusMage Systems provided the LED video panels, embedded computer systems, software, high-precision clock electronics and power packs for the 4 lead vehicles of the 128th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday. Here is the lead vehicle for the Women's Professional race as it's passing through Brookline. Thank you Dave Beliveau for the photo. Note the image in the upper left corner. Using GPS, we change the image to celebrate the town the race is currently passing through. :) Thank you Spencer Moland for being at the start line, installing the video panels, training everyone and ensuring a successful day!

A few helpful reminders:
🦄 Any athlete who has not received their bib number in the mail may pick-up their bib at Franklin Park on Sunday, November 12 prior to the race. Please be sure to bring a government issued photo ID.
🦄 Arrive at Franklin Park with plenty of time to spare before the 8:00 a.m. start to make sure you and your bib are all set and ready to go!
