Beautiful start to the season with my wonderful apprentice/son Chef Scotty. Visited my friends Watauga County Farmers Market yesterday and built a wonderful meal around local foods for these clients.

I am so excited! First catering post hurricane is this weekend! We are coming back in a big way! We look forward to serving the High Country again! I remember sitting here thinking about the destruction and how we would be able to clean up and for fill our catering obligations.

FYI we are fully booked for Thanksgiving Week, Christmas, and New Years. We still have slots in the weekends between. Thank you so much for your support.

CATERING UPDATE: Due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene, we will not be offering catering from The Resort Chef for the foreseeable future. This will remain in effect until all roads are cleared and passable.Prayers for a speedy rebuild of our business and the wonderful destinations which support it are appreciated. Catering for exsisting clients will be on a case by case basis. Thank you for your understanding in this very serious matter.

Our prayers are for a speedy recovery to our home and indeed entire region. We will continue to update here on this page.
