Celebrating the 175th Anniversary ... Did you know 💡

The Logan County Agricultural Society was founded in October 1850 following a meeting of prominent businessmen and farmers. The first fair was held October 29th and 30th in “Newell’s Woods” near the site of the present-day St. Patrick’s Church. The farmers of the county came together to make an exhibit of their stock and produce and for a general social time. There were no enclosures or entrance fee, and because of the wet, chilly weather, exhibits were set up in the Court House.

We are so excited for our 2025 Entertainment schedule.
Kicking us off, is the Demolition Derby Sunday Night at 6pm, in the grandstands! Followed by 2 days of Harness Racing. Be sure to join us Wednesday for the Youth Scramble, which is always so much fun!! Coming back for a second year is the Rodeo at 7pm on Thursday. We have Motorcycle Racing kicking our weekend off on Friday, and the Tractor Pulls on Saturday!!

The first day of summer means we’re one step closer to Logan County’s favorite tradition—the Logan County Fair!

From 🍿 Funnel cakes, lemonade, and fair food favorites 🐄 4-H shows and champion livestock to 🎤 Endless entertainment, family fun, and memories that last a lifetime

It’s beginning to look a lot like Fair Week!!
Final touches are being added to the fairgrounds in preparation for a week full of fun! A lot of hours are put in behind the scenes before the first vendor or exhibitor arrives on the grounds.
From mowing and painting to setting up pens, stages, and signage; our volunteers and community partners are hard at work making sure everything is ready to welcome YOU!
This past week, some of our Senior Fair Board Members participated in one of many 'work days' in preparation for the fair!!
We’re so thankful for the many hands that make the fair happen.
