Kallie was one of the lovely brides I had the honor of doing flowers for this past season. Her mom recently sent me these wonderful pictures and showed me how her bouquet was pressed and preserved through . Such a beautiful idea!

The last month has been a whirl wind at the farm. In the past month we tucked in 8000 tulips bulbs, 2800 daffodils, and have been battling the weather a bit; preparing for the really cold weather, and finishing up important projects. With only an hour of light to work with once my school day is done it has been a challenge to get pictures to show you here. ☺️

The highlight for me has been the two wreath workshops held here. Having you at the farm is my absolute favorite thing. 🌲

🎄The Wreath Workshop felt like a Hallmark movie today with the snow softly falling outside while the fireplace heater flickered and soft Christmas carols played while we sipped tea and made some really lovely holiday wreaths. There are just a few spots left for next week’s workshop if you would like to attend. Check stories for the link. 🎄

Happy Saturday! I am up until noon today with Thanksgiving Bouquets, mason jar arrangements, dried flowers, Ranunculus Grow Kits, Fresh Eucalyptus, and Fresh Rosemary Bunches. I grew more than I thought so am planning to open the Farm Shop tomorrow- Sunday- Wednesday 8am-6pm. Have a great day! Hope to see you somewhere. ❤️

I have been really quiet on here this past week because we have been buckling down with fall clean up. Last week Holly and I tucked 1000 little seedlings into the ground in the hoop and other protected areas. I mowed down the annual field and Alex got the Dahlias cut down today. I will get a soil sample sent off to see how we are doing. We still have much to do and plant but things are less urgent than they are in other seasons. I love this time of year. Shorter days means less time to work but supper is earlier which feels like a good change. Hope you are doing well out there. ❤️

🌷The Farm Shop is stocked with a few mason jars and pumpkins with a restock at 1:30pm. I am with Dahlia Deluxe Mason Jar arrangements, fresh Eucalyptus from the hoop house, and some dried flower goodies that would be great for display or your next flower craft. This is the last regular market of the season and the last day of the season for the Farm Shop for the season. ❤️

🌷 Happy Friday! This is the last weekend of the regular season for the Farm Shop. 😭
🌷There are Ranunculus kits (and pick up for those that have ordered), dried flower pumpkins, mason jar arrangements, and other goodies.
🌷Thank you so much for supporting the farm this year! We will be busy today planting in the hoops for next year and getting ready for market tomorrow. It’s the last one too and the weather is supposed to be lovely! 🌷

This weekend is the last weekend before the Farm Shop closes for the winter. Holly and I hustled to harvest the field last night before the sun went down because we knew the cold would wipe the flowers out, and it did. 😔 Tis the season of Frostmas. The Farm Shop is open tomorrow- Saturday 8am-7pm. Come catch the last fresh blooms of the season. ❤️

I just came back from an @ascfginc conference @clarajoyceflowers in Stockton Illinois near the Quad cities. If you are a flower lover (and I know you are ❤️) follow Drew and consider a road trip for one of his upcoming you pick events. His fields are jaw droppingly beautiful with Dahlias for acres yall! It was about five hours but the last 85 miles was all twisty curvy country roads through lovely little towns full of unique shops and beautiful architecture. I drove in at night and there is zero light pollution so you can imagine the stars with open skies. It was like driving through space LOL. I just enjoyed the heck out of it. I got to hear my friend and mentor Maggie @delightflowerfarm speak on "Growing Your Farm without Losing Yourself" and so many wonderful other speakers. I picked up different tips from more experienced growers and passed on some of my experience to new growers. It was hotter than the biscuits outside, but this flower farming thing makes my heart sing so it was all the way worth it. ❤️
